Love Louisville Trees, a project of Louisville Grows, will host their 6th Citizen Forester Training on October 17th from 10:00am-3:00pm in the Scnitzelburg neighborhood. Attendees will learn proper planting and tree care techniques from certified arborists. Upon completing the classroom portion of the training, participants will get hands-on experience planting four trees. Participants should dress for the weather and be ready to get muddy.
In addition to high-quality instruction, you will receive lunch, refreshments, a long-sleeve ‘Citizen Forester’ shirt and our Citizen Forestry wire-bound handbook.
