Chris’s passion for the environment was cultivated through time spent playing in the creeks and woods of Bullitt County. Studying sustainability at the University of Louisville catered to these environmental interests and sparked a passion for improving communities through direct action. His year spent working for Louisville’s Metro Parks also provided a deeper understanding of the gaps in equity and ecological needs which are best approached through the work of non-profit organizations. These personal and professional ambitions are materialized in the work that Louisville Grows does and only furthers his interest in fostering sustainability where it is most needed.
When he is not working, Chris enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, and playing music. Often found joking around, hugging trees, or doing both at the same time.
