2021 Louisville Earth Walk
Join in the 5th annual Louisville Earth Walk, a community celebration featuring a non-competitive walk – with virtual participation options at Hogan’s Fountain Cherokee Park.
Details and registration options available at LouisvilleEarthWalk.org
Everyone is invited to join from wherever they are in support of a vision where every neighborhood has safe and clean water, air, and soil. Participants can celebrate our beautiful planet while raising both awareness and funds for the organizations in our city that work to protect and improve the quality of life for all.
This year there are two exciting registration options: The Cherokee Loop Walk option invites participants to join us at 9am at Hogan’s Fountain for a celebration and 3.7k walk. The Virtual/Free-form option invites to get in their walk anytime on October 23 on their own favorite paths and routes in their neighborhoods, nearby parks, treadmills, etc. or to celebrate planet Earth on the same day however they like . . . run, dance, meditate or whatever . . . from wherever they are.
You can support the Louisville Earth Walk by making donations here: https://runsignup.com/Race/Donate/KY/Louisville/LouisvilleEarthWalk or by hosting their own fundraising pages on the Earth Walk’s RunSignUp page.
Proceeds will be distributed among the 12 environmental nonprofit organizing partners. They are: Project Warm, Passionist Earth and Spirit Center, Our Earth Now, Louisville Sustainability Council, Louisville Grows, Louisville Climate Action Network, Kentucky Interfaith Power and Light, Kentucky Conservation Committee, Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, Greater Louisville Sierra Club, Food Literacy Project, and Cultivating Connections.
