Citizen Forester 102 Summer Inspector Training
Citizen Forester Summer Inspectors commit to checking on 20 trees twice throughout the summer months, collecting valuable data and communicating with homeowners to remind them to water, weed and mulch as needed. Citizen Forester 101 is NOT required for participation. During the training we will review the responsibilities, provide some basic tree care information from an arborist, inspect trees planted through the Love Louisville Trees program and have some FUN!. Other topics include: caliper measurements of DBH (diameter at breast height), tree health assessments, tree ID, and communication with tree owners.
We provide lunch, a short sleevedLove Louisville Trees t-shirt, and a Summer Inspector manual to all workshop participants.
