What: Plant trees and bushes for the new South Points Food Forest
Where: 1400 Bicknell Avenue, near the intersection with Hazelwood Avenue
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 25
Who: Community members and volunteers are invited
The South Points Food Forest will be a community orchard that includes dwarf fruit trees (such as apple, pear, peach, apricot, nectarine, and plum), thornless berry bushes, pollinator-friendly plants, and clover cover crop.
